Screwed us when they needed to. Inadvertent, insignificant contact, and the result is huge.

Have NFI why the umpire didn't call it a mark for Newness
Have NFI why the umpire didn't call it a mark for Roo in the last quarter
Have NFI why cheat Pendlebury gets the shittest free kick in the forward 50, later the same s*** happens to Roberton and its play on
Have NFI why Sipposs gets hit on the head in our forward line and its play on
Have NFI why it wasn't holding the ball against Swan or was it Cloke, clearly holding the ball, ball goes forward, Collingwood goal = Rubbish

After the in the back call against Kosi for the fingernail that touched Reid, Murdoch lets the ball go, Jones makes no effort to tackle and Riewoldt makes a half hearted attempt, then the umpire calls advantage and the filth player has an easy running shot from 40m
I HATE the advantage rule. It's a joke.

But if our players did tackle and compete after the whistle gets blown it would be sure to be a 50 metre penalty so same result anyway.kosifantutti wrote:After the in the back call against Kosi for the fingernail that touched Reid, Murdoch lets the ball go, Jones makes no effort to tackle and Riewoldt makes a half hearted attempt, then the umpire calls advantage and the filth player has an easy running shot from 40m

one of our frees was an advantage which no saint had possession of it was a loose ball that milney was trying to run onto but was at least 10 meters away and still in dispute -but was one of our quality frees. just the same as a soft one 10 meters out from goal.

Re: To early for umpire bashing?
It was "Umpire appreciation Day" the night we played the filth and Collingwood truly appreciated those umpire decisions! Like Siposs blatantly grabbed around the neck in front of goal when we had the ascendancy - Umpy didn't see it, but he saw a dodgy free in the pack to the filth seconds later. then two quick kick up the field & a free to Collingwood in front of goal and the momentum swung away from us...

Watching the bombers and cats it's in a state of crisis. Bartell stages and gets a free from a guy that wasn't near it. Most of the decisions have been crap so far.

Either the umpire cheated last week or the rule has changed. How many identical incidents to Gear on Pendlbry last week have there been with no free tonight.

I have but I use 2 eyes. I am yet to see proof you understand the game. By the way the Geary free was wrong IMO.
