I'll go...Eamon_Dunphy wrote:1/ Which member of the 1966 Grand Final team was named the "Black Duck" by Jeansy?
2/ Which former great player is known as "Coconut"?
1. Black Duck - Ian Synman (the only player never to swap his jumper at the ground, but after peer group pressure traded jumpers with #5 Terry Waters two days later.)
2. Coconut - Neil Roberts

Well...the trivia thread seems to have gone off the rails...
Eamon has gone AWOL... St Fid - you better ask a Q to put us back on the track.
BTW, for those newer posters, anybody can play this game but read page 1 first (you only get to ask your Q after you have got the existing Q correct) - ie no jumping in with your Q otherwise we'll get all messed up again.
Over to you St Fid.

All of the premiers were Melbourne based?....
Seriously, one interesting fact is that all of the premiers (except one) won every one of their finals games.
Most premiers won in straight sets, however:
essendon (1965) won 3/3 and richmond (1969) won 3/3.
Only the Saints were able to lose a final and come back to win the flag.
