Tommy realised he had to add muscle and bulk to his frame this year. He has done that to quite an extent, however this has resulted in more stress to the nagging injuries he may be carrying in his lower leg. Hence the lack of speed, particularly off the mark. He,ll be so much better with next years pre season behind him.

He looks like a footballer and, given another preseason, I'm sure we'll see a very good key position forward next year.

Isn't slow at all.

But he was getting really frustrated with himself when he couldn't clunk the marks.

Exactly.

Lee knows when and where to run, and were to be.

He always looks likely.

Just needs to get a bit stronger and to gain more experience and confidence against AFL level opponents.

The club currently has a few former players back at the club to help out the younger players, I hope that they add the G-Train to that list to work with Lee and White.

Particularly when the contested grabs aren't sticking. It's a key forward's bread and butter. You are often a good judge, so it is a worry if you think he is very slow.
Sounds a lot like what was discussed during the telecast on the TV, they were joking that Lee needs a few tricks, then went on to say either some explosive pace to get a break on his opponent or
some extra strength to compete body on body.

Maybe Bruce and co talk to P66 ?

I can see and think for myself. Something that we are yet to see from you. Do you even follow the saints or were you sent on here to be the mole?

Kicks one goal and there are threads about concerns.

Kicks three goals and there's threads about him being the future.

That's about where things stand.

Lee's played bugger all games so perhaps we should let things settle down a bit, and let him develop a bit, before we search for the "New Topic" button.

Before yesterday's game, Tom Lee was statistically the best player in the AFL at retaining the ball inside 50 when directed at him.
