Been outstanding since he came back. Fisher and Gilbert left a huge hole and could have made a massive difference.

Potentially a good turnaround from Gilbert - he used to be Mr below 50%.
But I want to see him be Mr 92% against top sides when under pressure before getting too excited.

Our defenders went backwards and sideways at every opportunity, it was like 2009 all over again. Not hard to get good efficiency stats in that situation!

That said, Gilbo was good today.

Agree Enrico, but a well deserved pat on the back all the same. When he had to hit someone on the chest he did, A couple of great low passes hit targets including Roo.

That's true as SW obviously loves switching. Showed real authority in pack marking contests today stopping GC fwds getting a clear run at it and getting those long arms up. We've been missing that.

Brilliant game from Sam. As for his kicking - his passing was top notch for most of the day. A couple of bullet passes and one well weighted kick over the top as well.

I think the break did Gilbo some good.
Hes refreshed mentally. His main issues are above the shoulders.
Might be ready for a good year next year.

reckon Watters has told him to work on his marking and spoiling, coming along nicely.
he did really well considering he would have had the second week sores!

He was borderline elite 4 years ago,and has progressively gone backwards since.
He is still young enough to get back to his best

Did you see the mega flood GC applied. Worst coaching of the year from McKenna in a game that meant nothing overall

That caused some conversation among the group that I sit with.
It is a much improved skill from Sam.
Let's hope he keeps it up!
