.New deal for emerging Saint Curren
By Nick Bowen 7:26pm AEST Wednesday, September 25, 2013

St Kilda's Tom Curren showed huge promise in the latter part of the year
MIDFIELDER Tom Curren has been rewarded for his breakthrough 2013 season with a new two-year contract at St Kilda.

Curren has spent the past three seasons on the Saints' rookie list but was elevated to make his AFL debut in round 17 this year and went on to play every remaining game.

The 21-year-old came out of contract at the end of this season but AFL.com.au understands he has agreed to terms on a deal that will keep him in Saints colours to the end of 2015.

I'd love to see Curren in #7 in 2015.

Can we call him Tommy Guns? Is it too much like the Paddy? At least he has some guns even if he never becomes one.

Well deserved. While I think it is encouraging that many are talking the young man up, I will stick to hoping he becomes a worthy regular of the seniors.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Go hard early and often.
I have a real good feelings about TC.
I reckon he is going to be an above average player.
Will over take Armo imho.

I know of another club chasing his signature hard this year so its great to have seen him stick with us and not jump ship ala Walsh.

Kids a gun, has worked so hard and deserves everything he gets!
