Saw him kick it too Roo from the boundary while on the run and in heavy traffic and it was lace out on the chest and Roo kicked an easy goal. Newnes had to take a bump a split second after he kicked it and he showed good poise. Not sure what he's like on his non-preferred, but otherwise Newnes is coming on brilliantly.

I agree, and there are at least a couple more on here who recognise it too.
I agree he is a good kick. Problem is similar to Saad's though. He gets about 3 kicks a game.

He was forced to change his set shot routine and that may have played on his mind a bit earlier this year.
His problem isn't his kicking...he's just as good on the run as he is with set shots....Saad's issue (when and if he palys again) is that he doesn't get clean possessions and fumbles a lot...maybe a confidence thing
