Andrew Plymton..?

Post: # 1413604Post Middo »

So he did let the cat out of the bag...maybe he also deserves an apology .
Just bad timing on his behalf ..
Some loose lips @ the club ..?

Who doesn't joke about sacking the coach? Undermining, destructive, sure to get out in the media - of course. Just a little slip of the tongue. That wacky Andrew!

Personally I think the bloke is a "merchant" after that episode! Oversaw the sacking of Alves and the installation of the "messiah" Watson! First class merchant (IMHO) and part of this "old boys" network/clique that continues to hold the club back

I repeat my assertion in an earlier post, that what people are calling leaks may have been strategically slow released club warnings to Watters, or softening up of the members and footy industry in case he didn't come to heel.
Just think back to Sheedy's days and some of the gee ups to players given through the back page of the Sun.

Plymo was part of the problem at St Kilda. One on one he is pretty friendly but he loves to bag everyone down at St Kilda.

As I said: a "merchant" (IMHO) part of the "good old boys" clique/network...probably has Fine as a member too, that has held us back for eons!

This bloke hardly deserves an apology for having a big mouth.

Middo, an apology?! Are you crazy?! This merchant oversaw the situation where we went from Grand finalists to wooden spoon in 3 seasons!

Stan sacked himself, by deciding to treat the players like kindergarten kids.

100% disagree.

Plympton has a fine mind and is a dedicated worker behind the scenes who actually achieves results.

Recently this been being the power behind the scenes in rebuilding the now hugely successful australian olympic sailing team.

He did a huge amount of work to restructure the whole team and support network.

However he has no role at the Saints at present and will have had nothing to do with Watters going.

Well I guess if we want to see the Saints as a sailing club, we'll know just who to contact!

- the players threatened to mutiny;
- the captain screams blue murder at the crew;
- burning a dwarf is an olde maritime superstition;
Aye me hearties, we need Cap'n Jack Sparrow as Number One ticketholder :o :twisted:

Geoffrey Rush to play Capn Pelchen, remember Barbossa pinched the Black Pearl from Capn Sparrow
Capn Pelchen is the sneaky conniving pirate captain, sharpening his cutlass...
"Aye me hearties, I'm here to take over your crew, and together we will sail to the magical land of Jolimont
to raid the trophy cabinet and plunder the Cup of Gold !
If you're not with me, you're agin me you blaggards!"
"Get thee rid of the smurf, he will only run aground the good ship St Kilda!
Shipwrecked ye'll be, mark my words"
