Thanks Tony. The feedback is much appreciated by many on this site.

It's very early days yet, but any feedback on the way our new fitness guy handles himself, would be of interest.

The obvious difference from last year is that Adam had them continually rotating through a variety of drills. There would be no boredom as once they had a couple of minutes with one, they were quickly moved on to the next one. Very refreshing. Also the obligatory hard running drills!! Photos are up on the Saints website.

Careful SainterK you'll upset the cult who think Pelchen's the saviour.

The following and defence of Pelchen on here in time should rival the cult at Essendon who defend Hird.

I'd put some money on Peterson signing with Sandringham in the not too distant future... Just like Dowler did.

WHEN AFL clubs welcome first to fourth-year players back to training there will be some hard truths told.

Given AFL players have an average shelf life of about 3-5 years, who needs to improve at your club to make a name for themselves in 2014?

ARRYN SIPOSS (St Kilda)

ST KILDA needs the talented fourth-year forward to step up to the plate in 2014. Siposs played just nine games last year taking his career tally to 25. The booming right-footer, with a strong pre-season under his belt, looms as the ideal one-two forward punch with champion Nick Riewoldt. The captain can't do alone anymore, and with Stephen Milne and Justin Koschitzke gone, the time is right for Siposs to shine.

Nah nothing... I love a good grudge :D

This ones building though... just saying...

btw - I don't think there is a Pelchen-cult following on here... I'm certainly not one if there are...

Surely we all hope he does good things for us?

With the state of our list heading into 2010+, I am happy we have a ruthless approach to re-building. Pelchen is worth a shot IMO, unless there is someone else better equipped to build our list?

Ill be the first to congratulate him should it work out, I'm not stubborn like that.

I'm just putting how I feel about stuff out there.

Actually been accused of being too positive in the past, this is a change for me.

can you please link where Pelch is implementing a suspect suppliments program ??

Pelch isnt the massiah but he is the guy that the club have put the faith in to rebuild our club rightly or wrongly he is the man with the plan that the club have bought into , the test is to be very un-St Kilda like and actually follow through on this plan as opposed to cutting and running as soon as it get hard ... 140 years we have been looking for that magic formula , is Pelchen it , who knows at this stage its to early to tell but at least we are comitting to it .. successful people follow a plan through unsucessful people chop and change plans ... for me the club has faith in Pelchs plan so therefore i do as well , he is not above critisim (as hird was/is) but at this stage he seems to be going along nicely (with a few obvious hiccups along the way)

Bloody Sippa should be demoted to the rookie list.

Maybe then he will extract the digit and actually get to his potential.

Very surprised at the lack of size with a number of the boys - looks like they have not touched a weight in the off season. Hopefully the new fitness guy can put a rocket under them as strength is a key factor in their improvement...

Tom Lee had surgery on both shoulders, and wouldnt have been near too much weight on his upper body, basic compound upper body and some curls is about all he would be doing up until he gets into the swing.

Same for Jack Newnes (shoulder) and Sippos
