Roberton
Schneider
Anywho.... I would be giving Ross and Simpkin more of a run

I guess it depends how one defines 'best'... and for 'when'.
So for 'now' (round 1)...
IN: Bruce (must play), Saunders, Jones/Webster/Ross.
OUT: Markworth, Billings, Dunstan. (The first two especially, aren't ready yet IMHO).
WINS: Without looking closely at the draw... 7-9.
It's Dave, man. Will you open up? I got the stuff with me! -------Who?

Re: Best team / Win prediction
Best team for wins is:
FB: Dempster, Delaney, Geary
HB: Gilbert, Fisher, Roberton
C: Montagna, Hayes, Steven
HF: Milera, Riewoldt, Schneider
FF: Stanley, Maister, Dennis-Lane
R: Hickey, Armitage, Jones
IC: Ray, Savage, Newnes, Curren
Others: Gwilt, Siposs, Longer, Lee, Bruce, Ross, Webster, Simpkin, Saunders, Weller, the rest
Not much room for youth in there if we go all out for wins. If they stay fit then that team might win up to eight or nine games.
Most likely though a few of those guys are injured or not playing well and we end up with four or five more positions filled with promising youngsters. Then we'll win somewhere from four to seven.

Re: Best team / Win prediction
J Webb and Saunders are best 22.
No way TDL is best 22. He Does well at VFL level but doesn't do well at AFL level.
Acres and Billings not ready and Markworth needs plenty of footy this year but could step up later.
5 wins.

Markworth would be doing really well to be in the best team.
Siposs is in his fourth season and needs to pull his finger out.
TDL
