That was the time the last new member joined this forum.

Assuming that information is correct, one has to ask:

WTF is going on with Saintsational?

We get warnings about baiting, and a new oppressive moderating style, but no new members.

Why?

Very Exclusive.

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

So we just wait until Stinger's pissed everyone else off and has the forum solely for him and his son to swap social notes?

Is that his cunning plan?

Incompetence. Running a forum isn't that hard but these guys make it seem so.

There doesn't seem to be any backup plan.

We seem to have one moderator, one admin who doesn't know how to do anything technical, one super admin who can only be contacted by the other admin and if one of them is not available nothing happens.

I was hoping to have the new banner uploaded as well.

Twofold, nobody knows who we sponsor now, and because it says 'payment required' to encourage people to settle their accounts with MM

I guess if the pathetic admin wait long enough to fix this the forum will die a slow death as existing members drop off and aren't replaced. That'll solve the problem permanently.

I feel sorry for BFUSA.

But we are in the fortunate position of having a lot of complainers. If only we could reverse the mix.

I'm sure there's plenty of people who'd kick in if they could. I've got the technical skills to run this and I've volunteered to help out before. The owner isn't keen for help though, he wants to neglect it all on his own.

How much would it cost to start a new Saints site from scratch?
How many posters would migrate over if this was done?

From scratch? $20. $10 for a domain name, $10 for the first month of hosting.

How many would migrate over? Zero, give or take a handful.

This was in danger of falling off the first page, so I thought I'd bump it and hope that it came to our admin's attention.

Who knows, we might even get a response?

BFUSA could initiate a brand new forum, but his family appears to be having health issues sso perhaps it will have to wait a bit

I had a quick chat to buckets via pm the other day.
It seems Simon is pretty much the only one wanting to get this place really up to date and who has the op to do so.
But he has a serious family prob and I'm sure we wish him and his family our best wishes.

I had a look the other day who is Admin etc by clicking the link at the top.
Bfusa is up at the top then other s below him.
One poster is called sainsational but they have not posted since 2007.
A few others around 2011 from memory.
So from that info we can conclude that those admin don't have an interest in the site.....which is a shame.
Bfusa can't do it all on his own for Christ sake and needs help.

Its one reason why a few people actually did register a new name that was saints oriented in order to get a new site up and running.
It hasn't taken off due it not even being set up yet for the same reason as here, one person can't do everything.

The traffic is here, the members are here. And if someone who is a well known poster here could help by updating this place it would be great.
There's a few options on big goofy that are handy......like when u post in thread a little pic of your icon is next to the thread title so u know you've posted in that thread.
Also if u are logged in and click on a thread again to catch up on it it will actually take u to the last list you read.
Its only the little things like that that make ditesceasier to get thru.
There's countless little updates we could have done
At one stage there was talk of collectively buying out the site from the person who owns the name etc.
Everyone chips in a few bucks and we take the site on as a massive group and vote on Admins and mods and updates.
It never eventuated.

We all love the place.....even all the Spitz and arguments...it makes the place a real forum.
But unless the owners step up and help out bfusa I'm afraid we will keep talking about the place and it's current state for years.
