5. Nick Riewoldt
4. Rhys Stanley
3. Lenny Hayes
2. Jack Newnes
1. Adam Schneider
Others: Jimmy Webster's best game, Jack Billings, Jarryn Geary, Leigh Montagna, Jack Steven and Tom Hickey. There were really only two poor players on the night - Eli and Josh, or three if you include Seb Ross who did everything wrong when he came on.

swap Lenny and Joey and that would be my vote. Lenny had a stinker of a first half and an excellent second half.

4 Stanley?
Blanket over about 10 others
1 each to Billings, Webster, Delaney, Lenny, Newnes, Curran
About another six had excellent games

Re: Votes
Man, way too hard tonight, what a beautiful dilemma
5 riewoldt what a freak
4 montagna
3 Hayes
2 stanley
1 Schneider
Many other good players... Newnes best game, a dozen others you could barely fault.
Not sure how Joey can't make any top 5, 31 touches, 13 contested, 8 clearances, 7 tackles and one snag

Re: Votes
Really hard to pick em, but
1. Roo
2. Joey
3. Stanley
4. Hayes - one half - but what a half!
5. Billings
But really - Webster, Schneider, Ray, Curran, Newnes - all deserve votes!
Gwilt would be in there, but a couple of poor turnovers - still a good game
Geary - very happy with his game after a poor year so far.
Great team effort. Could/should mention more.

Can I give the coach a vote? Magnificent.
5. Roo
4. Stanley
3. Webster

1. Billings
With apologies to Lenny for that awesome 2nd half, and Curren for the job on Heppell.
And just about everyone else. Awesome team effort.

Re: Votes
Stiff not to be in my top 5. Saying that, I thought Schneider and Billings influence was not reflected on the stats sheet as much as a guy like Joey and can easily be understated. Schneider and Billings were match winners, not only hitting the scoreboard but setting up a lot of scoring opportunities when the game was there to be won.dragit wrote:

That's totally understandable, I should know better than to comment on others votes anyway, it's a knobish thing to do, everyone sees the game differently.Old Mate wrote:Stiff not to be in my top 5. Fact is we had 15 or so winners on the night.
