Milera
3 games in a row for tez. I think he is improving the defence side if his game too.
I like him. Still have belief he could end up being a very handy player...if he stays with us!!

Re: Milera
He must be the quietest runner. Twice in the pies game he seemed to just sneak up on opponents and lay a tackle when they thought they were clear.

Re: Milera
Certainly worked his way back and deserved to be elevated, he's already contracted for next year from memory?
The tackling has been a massive improvement, we know he has the tricks so if he can work hard enough on the physical side he should keep his spot in the side you'd think?

Re: Milera
He has some awesome skills and just needs the confidence. Could be the Motlop type of running player who kicks goals we need. He is so painfully shy he just needs someone to push him to believe in himself a bit more.

Re: Milera
IMO something that needs polish is something that is almost a finished product. We are so far from being a finished product and a long way off needing players that add polish.
IMO players that add polish are players that are easily muscled out of a game in a bottom dwelling team. Polish players and/or X factor players are best placed in a top four team looking to take the next step. In top 4 teams there are usually too many players requiring attention and IMO that is an environment best suited to a polish adder.
Milera is in the wrong place at the wrong time IMO. I hope he proves me wrong.

Re: Milera
He's still a bit timid in a contest for my liking but he's done some really nice things recently.

Re: Milera
He has some skill, but he can't tackle. Won't do the 1 percenters. Doesn't play hard enough. Should be discarded at the end of the season.

Re: Milera
Didn't do the poor bugger any favours today by playing him in defence. What was Richo thinking?
Australia...... Live it like we stole it....... Because we did.
Re: Milera
Do we expect Terry to be as hard as Lenny Hayes.... If he was, he wouldn't be a fringe player in a bottom team?
He's a classy outside HF ..... He actually tackles pretty well/that's a skill that doesn't require courage, very few people get hurt tackling ... What he doesn't do is body line the ball sometimes.
Least when he has the ball in hand we look dangerous.
He's never going to be a hard player, I think some people need to understand that
Just like some of our hard players are never going to be skilful

Re: Milera
Umpires arn't helping his confidence. Fought it out well today I thought in an unusual position for him. Takes the game on at least. Rather him making mistakes taking it on unlike others who make mistakes playing timid and safe.

Re: Milera
He looks decent on the outside in our team given our extreme lack of quality there. However he is incredibly soft in the contest. His one highlight of the day was good but it relied upon an opponent's error. Other than that he lost many one on ones and squibbed at least one marking contest.
That sort of lack effort is hard to ignore and I can't see him lasting in to next year.

Re: Milera
loved !!! the one when the ball was heading for Port forward line- listening to the Umpire radio caught the discussion between Terry and the Umpire on why the Port player got the free- and goaled late in the last -8856brother wrote:Umpires arn't helping his confidence. didn't hear Terry's comment but assume it was around what was actually happening and that he was being held of- ala Rhys last week around the neck
Umpires response- "I was 100 metre away so didn't see that"
My comment : well if you were 100 metres away how could you see with enough clarity to give it the other way.....

Re: Milera
Need to clean up the holding the ball rule. Its a disgrace. Only pay it if there's prior opportunity not if 5 players jump on you.

Thats the rule now unless you drag it in and then you lose the prior opportunity rule. If they are paying it any other way its a wrong decision.
