Gilbert gears and Eli certainly are looking like season long injuries. In Gilbert's case, I really hope they don't rush him and that his foot heals right up and gets strong!!

We need to be real honest. We aint going to get any value from Schneids or Chips next year. Both guys bodies are shot in terms of the demands and rigours of afl footy week-in week-out. It happens to everyone at some point.
I think Gwilt might be in the same bracket.

Yeah, they should have predicted the broken bones and given the guys casts in advance. Not to mention this infection of Schneider's - obviously he should have been on prophylactic antibiotics.

Or maybe some years you just have bad luck?

Ideal scenario, both hickey and wright make a smooth transition thru the vfl and get 3-4 senior games at seasons end to finish the year on a good note and pump in a few more games...what do people think if fisher comes back in and plays half a dozen games showing something...that will be interesting. Gee it's not looking good for roberton, can't get a game

It seems to be an unwritten fact that Roberton has some sort of injury although he plays every week for Sandy. It's bizarre...

I reckon Fish has to play at least 6 games in the seniors this year to have any chance of holding his spot for next year. Everyone outside the club is saying his body is buggered and sooner or later that perception will start to stick if he cant prove otherwise.
