Well, if the president actually spoke up for the club instead of being a good corporate citizen, maybe we would get a bit more respect from the umpiring fraternity.

Seriously someone from the club should approach the umpires boss about our treatment in 2014.

The whole club must sit down with the umpires en masse and have this out.

It's a festering sore that for whatever reason, the players never get a fair or even balanced game from the umpires.

My real issue this year has been then going issue of arm holding in the marking contest or tackles.

Apart from the fact it is dangerous and leaves players unable to protect themselves, it's straight out cheating and it should be called as "holding the man"

no they didn't cost us the game..no-one is claiming that......just that they don't give us a fair go........and it's okay to push, shove grab and hold roo......but don't let us think we can do the same to the opposition players......two saints got belted in the face......jack with a fist, schneids with an elbow...did either of them receive a free kick from any one of the three officiating umpires.????..not on your nellie........i nearly fell off my seat and down the stairs last week when schneids actually got a free...i think it was a case of mistaken identity and the maggot was more taken aback than schneids when he realised what he had done........

..a poster above said that the maggots punished us for tree years after thomas criticised them......no not true.....they are still sticking us in the ribs....


we have the most free kicks awarded against us..and receive the least....well ..we did last year..and we were on track this year for back to backs.... hell......fisher isn't allowed to umpire any more of our matches after he awarded a couple of frees to us earlier this year.....

Mmm I can smell a conspiracy. Come on guys our team isn't good enough yet, but crowd numbers affect umpiring decisions.
It's totally understandable why home crowds get more free kicks. The crowd demands it.
Umpires are easily swayed particularly in 50:50 split second decisions by the crowd reactions. Surely we can put the free kick stats including
goals from frees etc etc. The AFL would be shuddering but I'd be interested to see what the stats showed.
