A 9 minute video brat.. is it worth watching ?

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

well I found it interesting-- BUt many may say fluff-- OBviously he doesn't give away the family secrets.

But I like his manner, mood and clarity of process.

he along with a couple of assistants have provided security within the coaching group at the saints- many have been there for quite a number of years now-
whilst some would say means they are- not wanted elsewhere, but not good enough to go elswhere, etc etc etc.

to me it provides stability, Trout has grown into this position after not coping with Lyons pressure as an assistant- he has now been with the Saints since 2007- he will have worked closely with Pelchen and would know 'the plan'

Talking about assistant coaches I notice that AR hasn't tried to get one assistant yet since his late appointment last year (although I could be mistaken). Doesn't the senior coach usually get a say in who he wants to surround him?

unless he is happy with those who are there, and they have formed a good working relationship- and from my outside observation they developement and assistant coaches work well together- ..there is still one position available- I beleive-- with Teague gone, and he was an appointment late last year-

I haven't watched it but I assume he talks about how surprised we were that the guys we'll pick at 21 and 22 were still there at those picks, that we rated them as top ten prospects so we're really optimistic about how it will turn out for us.

Neither of them are committing themselves as to who we will pick with our #1 choice. Very interesting to see who it will be if it isn't Petracca......Brayshaw maybe!!

I wouldn't think so. If we don't take Petracca it's because we rate Mc cartin highly I think.

Why wouldn't we have taken 4 and 7 if that is the case. Arent Melbourne probably going to take to mids? Surely we are taking Petracca.

Probably getting Petracca but if we don't it's because we really want a KP. 4 and 7 were never actually offered except as a swap down with our 21 or what ever it was. We probably didn't think it was likely to still have Mc Cartin there at 4 and the 7 probably not worth that much more than 21.

McCartin will be there at 4 I would think so again we would have swapped if we really wanted him. It is obviously Petracca.

I don't think I have heard that at all. Maybe height is an issue but not once have I heard the knock being Diabetes. Clubs know there is no issue with that.

I agree with your calculation. It's got to be between Weller being left down (meaning only three new rookies) and Schneids being let go (meaning four new rookies). So really the question is whether Schneids gives more value than rookie pick 60-odd.

Personally I'd keep Schneids one more year in that case, but I can see the argument the other way.

Elshaugh on the Draft.

Not another confession years to late.
We already knew Butters was a drunk when he got pissed in South Africa.
I better go read the article anyhow.

This conjecture about who we should be picking up as the number one draft pick is making me very nervous. I haven't seen many of these top 10 hopefuls play but people that are in the know are saying that Petracca is the best player in the draft by a fair margin and so given that and also given the fact that we are in desperate need of a gun midfielder that can kick goals, I can't understand the indecision. I'm hoping that they have decided on Petracca but just playing ducks and drakes.

The only indecision is what you get from frequenting here and reading peoples opinions.

That is not reality, regardless of who said it and whether they are popular on this site.

The only reality is who the Saints call first on draft day, leading up to that all discussion on here is actually worthless crap.

Saints looking like a bottom 4 team in 2024.
