I can not believe Winmar is in the same league - all round package Harvey by a street
Ask any opposition fan who they and the game rates better and I think this one is dusted

One of the things I've been voting on is how much I've enjoyed watching a player.; I remember calling out Winmars name more than Harveys.
So for those that don't think he deserves to be in the elite class, perhaps you can tell me of any other midfielder that has kicked NINE goals in one match, from any club, Sure he was playing FF that day but so what.
Mark of the year 1992 here it is
I've been basing my voting on favorite not best, We each have our reasons as to why. The Gtrain was another Fav but didn't see if he was included. Hamill. Lowe, Max many more.
I voted for Winmar but certainly no disgrace to come second to R Harvey, many did
I didn't vote.......but if I was forced to....it would have been for Banger....
..has there been a greater, more loyal, more humble, servant of the club?
These days people talk about opposition players not being able to keep up with Rooey........ I don't know that anyone ever kept up with Harvs (Shane Crawford tells a good story about his 1st match-up on Harvs).....he was just a machine...
..I just wish he'd been just a little more selfish on the paddock......would have easily kicked 500+.....(but 215 goals at AFL level is nothing to sneeze at)
...2 Brownlows says it all.... absolute Superstar.
