New Zealanders commemorate the day holding wreath-laying ceremonies to mark ‘Armistice Day’. As part of these ceremonies, two minutes silence was observed at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day in memory of those New Zealanders who died while serving their country

Saints Staff and colours were seen at 2 community festivals last week

and the boys visited a former saints trainer today

stkildafc@joshsaunders35 and @tomlee9 paid a visit to Bryce Lay at his home in Chelsea heights today. A life member, former trainer and a St Kilda member for 74 years. A fighting spirit and an absolute pleasure to meet with a big heart. Even gave a history lesson to the boys!

a couple of groups squeezed into small planes to get to Robinvale and Mansfield- whilst others were closer to home at Sorrento and the bayside

Didn't SAAD have flying lessons during his suspension? Don't know if he has received his pilot's licence as yet? So he possibly knows its safer travelling distances and flying by plane than travelling in cars or buses on country roads.

Just happy to be there I reckon.

He is an absolute beauty saad he got the biggest cheer of anyone besides rooey at the jumper presentation. He just keeps on grinning and loves being among the crowds. Gives his time to everyone. Lee also a really good guy amongst the crowd. Longer and mav also very comfortable doing the rounds.

As part of Pride Cup, every coach and president in the Yarra Valley Mountain District Football and Netball League will attend a "train the trainer" workshop, led by St Kilda coach Alan Richardson, to help them support young people in their clubs who may be struggling with their sexuality.

The AFL has backed the event, paying for this training and Sunday's pre-match lunch, which will include a keynote speech by former Hawthorn president and beyondblue chairman Jeff Kennett and a panel discussion with openly gay athletes.

St Kilda players will lead a kids footy clinic at half-time and former Carlton player Brock McLean will line up for Yarra Glen. An evaluation supported by VicHealth will be conducted after the event to measure how attitudes have changed
