Re: Massive outs for carlton this week
I hate Carlton, however, i love seeing them fail, i've been in my element for years
The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.

Geez, here we go again. There is nothing more certain than we will have more out, come the bounce, than Carlton. Can we lock all threads, " How great it is that they might have heaps out so that we will be certainties." ?

Maybe tony can answer this question of mine- Are the young players taught our cultural distaste/hatred of Carlton?
I know Rooey hates them and lifts a few cogs - just hope our young ones do also.
Why would Rooy hate Carlton? Why would anyone have any side? Why do people hate?
I think Plugger is more a sagely Jedi Knight-type like Obi-Wan Kenobi - "Con, don't give into hate. That just leads to dark side."
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!

Plugger is just a very misunderstood man. He offers all the wisdom of the world but the unenlightened don't want to hear his pragmatic wisdom. He often espouses the suffering as the baseline mantra from buddhism. He also says he is often negative to lower the expectation that will lead to disappointment. Think I will buy a caftan and grow my hair. Anyone know how to light a bong and play a sitar.Sainternist wrote:The Dalai Lama got roped into supporting the Swans courtesy of Brett Kirk.Con Gorozidis wrote:Didnt realise you were the Dalai Lama.plugger66 wrote:saintspremiers wrote:If Roo is still out that hurts us big time.

As with many others I despise Caaaarlton.
I get almost as much pleasure from a Carlton loss as a StKilda win.
So a win at the Caketin will be double pleasure.

Derailed by plugger yet again.
It's a football forum buddy. Do you mean to tell me not all collingwood supporters are inbred criminals? And the reason why melbourne can't draw a crowd isn't because their supporters are at the snow!?!?
Why would anybody hate? Why would anybody spend half their life on a football forum?
Why did we have to seperate bigmart and plugger into the only two saints forums? There's no escape!!

Please keep on topic and put me on ignore but thanks for your imput. Amazing stuff. Go back 30 posts to find one so you can get off topic. Anyway on topic the only out looks like being Yarren. Hardly massive outs especially if we have Rooy missing.RODOS wrote:Urghh.plugger66 wrote:saintspremiers wrote:If Roo is still out that hurts us big time.

Re: Massive outs for carlton this week
I don't hate Carlton, they are as equally worthless as the other 17 teams.
I do enjoy seeing them get beaten though for some reason, even moreso than the filth and the injectors.
As for massive outs. The most massiveness out (like my grammar there?) is Riewoldt for the STKFC.
If he is out we probably lose.

Re: Massive outs for carlton this week
I think it's time to revisit this old classic.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Maybe I will put you on ignore, it's a double edged sword, i avoid the pissing contest but also miss out on any interesting info that is lying beneath the surface. Also I appreciate half of the stuff you post. FWIW I reckon we'll win by 20 points this week, outs or no outs, we've got a point to prove.
