Just magnificent and it is not a one off either; pulled down a crucial mark against the WB under similar circumstances.

Gutsy mark when you know you're gonna get crunched.
Hope that fist to the back of the head gets looked at.
Worst spoil ever.

I agree. It was a careless attempt to spoil the mark. Perhaps lucky to not have given away 50m.Kate wrote:"Fair attempt at a spoil" - Bull! Mac marked the ball with arms extended. The back of his head was nowhere near the ball. Cheap shot.
Great courage shown by the young fellow. What a terrific acquisition.

Re: This deserves its own thread.
We seem to be getting these type of incidents regularly this year.
Webster last week against the Eagles, Riewoldt against GWS, Mckenzie today.
Is it because we are a young side teams think they can bully us?!!

First things first, it is a gutsy, body on the line mark.
What a terrible kick to him though. Just set him up deluxe.

We're going to have these two tall, tough, strong marking players who can turn defence into attack and create great transition. They will be real weapons in a few years. As players get tired in games, they won't get any smaller out there.saintspremiers wrote:Blacres will be good also in a few years

Re: This deserves its own thread.
Saw him take an absolute cracker at Williamstown oval v the Seagulls. Jumped over two players, a Willy play and a Saints defender by the name of Goddard to take a very strong courageous mark.
With that and other aspects of his play, was selected the next week to play seniors and has not been back to the ressies since
