Do you reckon we might have a look at Jake Carlisle from the Bombers (lets not get into the whole drug debate)
He fits the demographic because he's still only 23.
My question is simply, does he prefer to play forward or back?
There was alot of debate around last year about him and Hurley and who should play back and who should play forward.
If he prefers playing backline I wouldn't mind seeing us chase him.

And, it's impossible not to get somewhere near the 'drug debate', we would have to give up heaps to get him and there is some sort of chance of him having to serve what could be a lengthy suspension. I don't want to be party to mitigating essendopes pain.
It's a shame ignorance isn't painful
Re: Carlisle
No for me. We have Delaney atm doing a good job stopping the opposition key fwd. We have Goddard in the 2's waiting for an opportunity and if you believe some on here Tom Lee as a tall 3rd backman. Carlisle would cost te earth to get and right now our immediate focus should be on line breaking midfielders with good skills.

Re: Carlisle
If he leaves I suspect he will end up at Carlton on a large wage. I would prefer a talented midfielder instead. Sloan would be better value-for-money.
Nothing better than a good Dad Joke.

I would prefer a Hooker.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Niiiiice one-two routine. Well played.8856brother wrote:Cheaper too.Jacks Back wrote:I would prefer a Hooker.
Id prefer we go for someone like Oleg Markov with our pick 4. I have no interest in someone like Carlisle. He will go looking for money and end up somewhere like Norf or the Blues youd think. Hawks might even look at him.
