The Flux Report
I'm sick of waiting for Roger, so I'm filing my own report.
Match report from Sunday - more of the same.............
I can really see what Richo is putting together here. Once the blokes are a bit bigger and more experienced we'll be able to string it together for four quarters - and then - look out! But for now, we still struggle to put it together for the four quarters, but we're getting closer.
F&#*'g kick ins!!! Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!
Jack Watts. Has there ever been a more pathetic No 1 pick since drafting got serious, than butter boy?
Positives...............
For the first time this year Armo and Steven (there is only one of him) only just made it to 20 possies.
We went in yet again a key defender short, then played most of the last half without Delaney. (Why was he subbed out? No mention of an injury. )
Jimmy W had a quiet day. (Yes he kept Garlett quiet, but Garlett is a down hill skier and last reports said still not much snow at Hotham.) Seb, Dunstan and Gilbo' seemed to tire and I believe they will get better after coming back from lay offs. The Bruce had a quiet day.
YET WE STILL WON! YOU LITTLE RIPPERS!!!
Selection table report (assuming those named are fit).................
Definite.......
Sam Fisher for Shenton. Shenton unlucky. (Lee next in line.)
MacKenzie for Farren... can do everything Farren can, but with big upside - so must play games!
Our mid field clearly needs a lift. Saunders is fast, tough, has great endurance and is very hard at it. Potential inside and outside mid. We really must give him a decent run of games to see if he can deliver. (I would also like to have seen Minchi in the mid field on Sunday.)
Wright next in line for that role (and for MacKenzie's role.)
Membrey not seeming to impact the game enough, and especially his kicking for goal lacks conviction. Which is surprising, as wasn't he meant to be a good kick? If in range - TAKE THE BLOODY SHOT MEMBERS! However, I believe in giving blokes a consistent run to settle and show us what they can do. So to mash up a Richo quote - thinking of careers not the next round (or whatever he said) I'd give Billings more time to complete get over his leg soreness. (Eli next in line.)
Saunders for Dunstan. The fact that Luke didn't lay one of our 99 tackles confirms to me that's he's carrying something. I say give him a rest and get him right. He's part of our future. (See the mashed up Richo quote.)
Nearly forgot. Must fit Roberton back in. I'm not sure how? Damn! this is too much pressure.
To think very seriously about..........
If Roo doesn't come up, then Hugh up forward. Can be swung to either end of the ground if needed. From reading all the reports though, his endurance seems to be what's not quite ready for the big time? Otherwise, Lee.
Hold off on the Rookie upgrade. Both the Jack and Schneiderman are very worthy of the spot, however there're a few things to consider.
If Hickey isn't right, and with Pierce seemingly stalled(?) for the moment... if anything happens re Billy's fitness or form (especially the latter), then we're suddenly without a ruckman.
So, we need to keep our options open to be able to bring in big Jason.
I really hope we can give Holmesy (my choice of nickname for the big bloke) a run sometime this season. He's progressing way quicker, beyond all expectations (beyond mine anyway) and I feel that some senior experience is what's needed next, to further accelerate that development.
Definite and to think VERY BLOODY WELL THINK VERY BLOODY SERIOUSLY about.............
BLOODY KICK INS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whether it's ours or theirs....................... kick ins more than anything else (except maybe our stadium deal, but I won't go there) ARE BLOODY KILLING US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How hard can it be????????????????????????
We have it - we kick it to one of our blokes in the clear (not to one of theirs in the clear), or at least go long to a 50/50 contest (not long to a 'contest' where we are out numbered.) They have it - don't leave their blokes standing all alone at their CHB!!!!!!!!!
And finally - I now have faith in our recruiters - so play to win!!!
Thoughts Sainters?

If only we knew who you were. Far to positive and humerous to be Roger. Saunders wont come in for Dunstan though. he has 2 weeks to get right if he is wrong.
Re: The Flux Report
We should create a poll to try and suss out who this alias poster is.
I'm going with Joffaboy/Bunk Morland.
Rogerfox early mentions cancels out Johnnie Member.
Or does it???????
The Jack Watts comment is what's swaying me towards JB/BM..
Love a bit of Cluedo.

Re: The Flux Report
Why wouldn't you comment on the content of the post rather than just who might have written it? I think it's a pretty good effort.

Re: The Flux Report
I agree that Saunders needs to get a go, was missing from Sandy last week so not sure what is happening.
I remember from the Essendon NAB game and he stepped a couple of filth to kick a goal and I thought wow that was impressive.
He reminds me of Frankie Coghlan
