Hope so, Richo stated he would walk straight into the team if on the list.

A bit of wisdom from the coach from that article and why the club is in good hands:

"If it's the right thing by the team to bring in a young player, it will be because that young player has earned his position," Richardson said.

"We just can't throw our young blokes in because they're young."

Has to be elevated and has to play this week, he was just sensational in the VFL, looked a class above anyone else out there. His greatest skill is he just doesn't fumble, even under immense pressure he keeps his head over the ball and almost always one grabs it.
He is a gun and could be in our top 3 mids in two years

Don't we need another long term injury before he can be elevated? How long will Curren & Acres be out with their injuries? If they are not long-term injuries, then Sinclair can't be elevated to play this week.

Maybe they should whack him in the midfield instead of playing him as a small forward

Incredible how someone with such obvious talent (enough for Billings to label him the best player he played with) gets completely overlooked in the draft.

I can understand times past, not as many dollars into recruiting and scouts on the ground, but nowadays, it really is baffling how some guys get selected and other like Sinclair slip though.

He looks as good as any top 5 pick of his years draft at the moment, we have hit absolute gold with this kid.

He did have a period of time in the midfield the last game he played in the Seniors. Noticed him down the back half a few times when there were ball ups. So he's been on the ball for short bursts.

Read now that Curren will most certainly be a long-term injury, so Jack could be straight back in........ hopefully.

Tom Curren has a broken leg and will be out for the rest of the year

Yep just read that after I posted.................... bad luck for Curren....................... good luck for Jack.

Or they may want to have a look at Holmes up a level. Jack wont be going anywhere with his new 2 year contract, so he's assured of being in the main list for next season.

Bad luck for Tommy Curren. Really rate him. He'll be back, I'm sure. Has anybody heard any update on Blake Acres' injured wrist/thumb? Break/fracture/sprain?

I don't think Holmes will get a call up, I think that the coaching team like Longer as the number 1 ruck man and Hickey was better than Holmes in the VFL and provides more flexibility

There were three or four times on the weekend when I had no idea how Sincs got the ball out of congestion. He just sticks a hand in and next thing he's five metres away delivering it lace out.

ST KILDA has elevated Jack Sinclair back on to the senior list and placed Tom Curren on the long-term injury list today.

Curren fractured his fibula in Saturday’s VFL win over Footscray, ruling him out for 10-12 weeks.

While unfortunate for Curren, the injury has opened the door for Sinclair to return to the senior list, and possibly the St Kilda team.

“I’m rapt that I’ve got the opportunity to potentially play AFL again,” Sinclair told SAINTS.com.au.

“It’s really disappointing for Tom. He’s a really hard worker and everyone respects the way he goes about it. It’s unfortunate that this had to happen for me to get an opportunity.”

Nearly every player on the list is expected to double back to defence when the ball leaves our forward line. It's pretty normal to see our forward line completely empty then when we get the ball there is a stream of players running flat out to make it back to their positions. Lonie and sinclair are always in amongst it in the backline when needed. That's modern footy I guess.
