Fair enough if we were certain you knew the rules. Im not sure you always do.

I'm not sure that some rules exist as we never get them. Apparently there's a blocking free now.

Stepping the ball over is deliberate isn't it?

Taking a players legs at one end by membrey is a free (that is after blatant jumper tug is ignored) same circumstance at other end is deemed head high contact?

You missed the point of the thread. It was about umpires not the result of the game. I will try to get a simpler heading of the thread for you next time

The umpiring was terrible IMO. Lots of threads to talk about how bad we were, this ones about the umpiring.

Who's not talking about them?

I am quite partial to a roasted turnip with a nice drop of red. If only others were as refined as us Plugger. The Einstein reference although a bit over the top does sit rather nicely with me!

Nup. Having a great day. Just sick of our supporters whinging about umpiring and took offence at the inference I was simple. Have a nice afternoon. Hope blaming umpires makes you feel good.

All good. Have a good Sunday evening. Sorry for the inference as well but I hate threads getting hijacked away from original intention. I still think the umpiring was crap but in know way did it influence result. Just makes watching all that bit harder

Umpiring was terrible, which made things worse.
I believe that might be a point.

Been terrible all year, but did not impact the result. I think a few of the boys maybe playing a bit sore...

When we talk about not affecting the result, are we talking the 4 points or the margin.
It certainly affects the margin

If it wasn't for the umpires, we wouldn't have lost the game. That's because without the umpires, the game couldn't have started.
