Passenger today. Hale did all the heavy lifting in the ruck today.
Congratulations all the same Ben.

Personally don't think he is that good or has developed that much since he left us...

He looks good in a team that can cover his weaknesses... And in fairness, they can. Hawthorn can play him simply to capitalise on his ability to take contested marks dropping back and so forth

Agreed Skeptic. That is his strength. Hardly saw him in the ruck at all today, and never at centre bounces. Hale did all of that.

Ben had 9 disposals at 88%.

20 hitouts and a goal.

Hale only managed 6 possies at like 60% and 9 hitouts.

Natanui had 37 hitouts and only four possessions.

I dunno, but I think Ben was the best ruckman on the ground by a fair margin.

NicNat stunk it up deluxe.

anyway "gone with the wind " was a damn good movie...switched over before 3 qt time.
'Gone with the wind', 'Hawks v Eagles' - knew both endings beforehand. went exactly to script either one you watched!
good point but sometimes it's not about the result..but the journey
better point.

Well being at the game it was like he dropped the world cup when he missed a mark my 107 grandmother takes daily. The WCE had controlled play for nearly 30 minutes when that happened and that would have put them within 19 points but alas the Hawks rebound goal and then game over. Seems silly to say when you lose by 46 points but that was a huge moment in the game.
