The first set I bought in 1979 were Trevor Barker, Gary Sidebottom, Jeff Sarau, and Russell Greene.

Is it only badges from that year (1982 or 1983?) that you need? Are you wanting to buy them or just want to know what players were in the set? Would they have made badges of all (senior) players in that era?

Were they the badges with red, white and black stripes (like sun rays) behind the player?
With the another Badges I have this O'Donnell one is most likely 1984 , but I hear you say he didnt play in 1984 thats right he played in 82 83 there was talk of him making a comeback too cover for a injured Tony Lockett but I think Victorian Cricket talked him out of that
We only had that red valentine greetings logo from 83 to 85
I have a Mark Jackson Badge he only played 10 games for us all in 83 thats a safe bet, which means this badge can only be 84 or 85 that why I need help with any Info anyone can give me
As for buying any old Badges anyone as any I would be more then Interested just pm me

That's correct. I ended up selling the Russell Greene one to a Hawks supporter in 1980.
