On the "new sponsor" thread saintbrat has posted about an article with Nathan Freeman sporting the new sponsor logo (see photo below) however the photo also shows Nathan standing in front of the sad old stand at Moorabbin. It has certainly seen better days and it also looked terrible in real life when I went to an open training session a week or two before the end of the season.
It's such a pity that it looks like it does. I had to go past the old Collingwood ground a couple of months ago and they have preserved different sections of the ground including entry gates and it looks good.
They should have an open day down at Moorabbin so we can all see the old Saints disco area one more time before they bulldoze it.
Someone please make it happen.

Bloody Politicians? Want to make it all about them?
Should we expect the bulldozers to move in on or about 11 Jan 2016?
Should we expect a completion date towards the end of 2016?

Why on earth wouldn't we renovate it and have it looking pristine, like the Junction Oval stands?

I would suggest it would cost more to do that than build a smaller building. Its in disrepair.

Perhaps they could have one last disco, that ought to finish it right off

As I said in my OP I would love to see the old Saints disco area one more time if the place is to be bulldozed.
Also if we are going back to Moorabbin they need to do something about the grass playing surface. It's full of weeds and the Seaford surface looks so much better.

Yeah, we could invite Tony Lockett and Rick Watt.

I'm tipping the VFL team's first game back at Moorabbin will be a lockout. Get down there early. I sincerely hope they recreate the "Animal Enclosure" in some way. Bring it on!
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Win flags and the money follows
We had Hawthorn beat in 71
nearly 5 goals ahead of Adelaide in 97.
20 points ahead of Geelong in a low scoring game in 2009.
Level with Collingwood in the dying stages with the ball in our forward 50 in 2010.
We've certainly had our chances.
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

We had our chances but I'm not sure we were watching the same games.

Might be a typo? 10 points was our greatest lead that day.

And I think 17 in the Adelaide GF but I'm not sure because I will never watch either again.
