I don't reckon Ross will make a great footballer but I really hope I'm wrong and there are posts telling me how wrong I was. (quote from Plugs)
I gotta tell you you are wrong here. Ross was one of the best Ruckmen the Saints have had.

Re: Lower your expectations of what Freeman achieves this ye
Just wondering what players at AFL level have had chronic and bad hamstring issues and have gone on with no further problems and have top AFL careers? I remember Jamie Cripps coming back but he clearly couldn't run with the burst he had prior to hammy problems. I kept injuring my hammies playing footy and eventually I just didn't bother trying to accelerate hard, just tried to run at an even pace, but I could never play the style of game I was used to pre injury. I just hope the club know what they're doing in recruiting a risk like Freeman- I want him to do well though.

This sounds like one of those fabled "just one week away" that keeps stretching out. Just need to be very careful. No rush with this cat especially as it will be at least Feb before he gets into full training so he'll be behind the eight-ball compared to other players.Forward Tim Membrey and ruckman Billy Longer are being protected in drills, while midfield recruit Nathan Freeman is a week away from joining full training after a hamstring injury.

He must have been a player BB. He's on the interchange for our team of the century.borderbarry wrote:Jimmy Ross, No. 20. My favourite Saint when I was a kid.
If Seb turns out nearly as good it'll be a good thing.

Is it possible for you to be any more of a dick? Lets see if he is in full training next week or not? Footy clubs love the "one week away" cliche.ripplug66 wrote:Bluthy wrote:http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-01-26/r ... -drugs-ban

Wow. How did you go at school when you were obviously picked on? Did your parents get sick of seeing the headmaster?

Plugger, Bluthy. Give it a rest. Stick to commenting on the topic please. The personal tit for tat couldn't be any more boring. Thanks.
Re: Lower your expectations of what Freeman achieves this ye
Is that an attempt at humour? Because its really quite sad and spectacularly unfunny. Mirth ain't your forte cowboy. Your attempts at humour make me cringe - and that's only when you can be understood to some degree. Stick to the prickly attention-seeking how-do-I-get-under-their-skin replies which is your bread and butter.ripplug66 wrote:

The personal crap is really boring. If you want to have a personal tit for tat flame war or even a small skirmish, take it to the AE. Not in the thread please. Please comment on the topic and not the other poster. Thanks.

Please attempt to at least mention the first poster first if that is even slightly possible. Obviously far to hard.

Never had high expectations for Freeman. He's still yet to play his first game of AFL footy. But by the golly the kid looks determined to give it a good shot with his new club. Fingers crossed he'll become an asset.
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!

Oh for Christ's sake, now you're being discriminated against. I couldn't give a toss who starts it - who was first or second. Makes no difference. It takes two to tango and you're both dancing.

One of the exciting things about following the Saints at the moment is so many unknowns.
With so many unknowns we know some players will emerge and some will fall by the wayside but we really dont know which is which yet.
For me about 80% of the list are players still facing big ? marks.
