He never ever accepted a warning gracefully ... EVER. Each warning resulted in PMs as to why no warning was justified. Any response was then argued in the same manner he argues on the board. He was FAR from graceful. Previously when he could not win a debate in PM, he has accused me of bias, stupidity, a lack of humour, a complete failing of understanding banter and mateship, among many other things ... but the very last thing one could say is that he ever took a warning gracefully!

Yes, he could come back under another nic from another IP address. But if the posting style was the same, then it would be obvious who it was.

Regarding P66 being bullied and hearing his side of the story.

I can confirm that there were many PM exchanges trying to explain to P66 why his style of posting was argumentative and antagonistic. And why many posters were complaining about him. He couldn't or wouldn't accept it. He also seemed to think that he never started an argument and that was justification for every single argument he had. His right of reply. He also seemed to think being argumentative was fun and he was fond of saying people shouldn't take it so seriously as though that somehow made the personal insults and bickering ok. He could not grasp the line between posting about issues and posting about personal stuff about other people. He had many many many many chances to 'get it' and he just didn't, or wouldn't.

I've seen some pretty ugly posts and stuff in PM's on here from time to time, but what P66 PM'ed to Simon, not once or twice but in a series of abusive PM's was outright offensive, vile and deeply insulting. If someone started PM'ing you crude, language laden insults about your wife, her and your sexuality, your kids and wishing that you would die, would you be ok with that? Anyone?

The mods have IMO been really really patient and gave him heaps of chances to change his posting style. Even in this incident, there was a willingness to warn and once again try to shift the posting behaviour away from the personal. But P66 snapped and let forth a torrent of vile and offensive abuse. No choice remained but banning.

Mainly because he debunked a lot of stupid posts on here. Upsets some being proved wrong with their opinions, so he made many enemies. Have had a few run ins with plugs myself but I don't have a thin skin.

I've copped a few warnings myself but generally just take it on the chin, sometimes question why but getting personal is just wrong and stupid.
