Guess the crowd: Saints vs. Dees NAB twilight Schlockbuster!

I think it will be a decent turnout as its our first Melbourne game of the year.
Would've probably got a similar size crowd had we been able to play at Moorabbin.
Unfortunately I'm not convinced if the free entry for members is that widely known/increases the crowd.
Has our club promoted this fact much through Facebook/email?
I haven't seen much promotion of the game at all. I'm assuming we get no revenue from it so don't really care??

Mmmm, We're a fair way from Ski Season, yet Melb supporters still have a reluctance to cross to the other side of the city. Perhaps the narrow streets around the Docklands, make for difficult manuevering of their Land Rovers?
Then again, Demon supporters are up and about at the moment, as their team is shaping up as 'competent' for the first time in a decade. I was at a recent function involving David Schwarz and he was bursting at the seams in anticipation, extolling Hogan as God & Petracca the new 'Ablett'! Are Demon supporters seeing a light at the end of the 'Norm Smith Curse' ?
I imagine if weather & traffic is perfect and none of the ski resorts are putting on synthetic snow, an extra 1,000 Dees may turn up. Then again they'll probably opt to wash the Land Rover and watch on TV.

I'm going with a posse and kids, know a few more that are going who aren't big fans of the NAB so I'm predicting a good turn out. 15500.

Pretty sure we don't get the same penalties for a NAB game… think this was billed as a Melbourne home game anyway.Toy Saint wrote:So did we make any money, or did we lose a crapload thanks to the etihad deal?

I don't know where the saints supporters were?
I would say 65% Melbourne supporters
maybe higher
The fact that Melbourne's cheer squad made a banner and ours didn't says it all .
