Shame about the Blacres but someone had to give to get both Jimmy and Dunny back in. And we don't know if he is doing all the things they want him to do or not meeting a standard or they are worried about him being able to back up after a tough game. I'm just putting it down to the 'big guys take time' principal. As long as he keeps soaking in all the knowledge around him he'll be a ripper.

Of course Lee held his spot. He played well and we need a key defender to fill the injury to Roberton. You can't put Spud Delaney in and Goddard appears not to be ready at this stage

That could be the standards thing Tony said he wasn't meeting. Sinclair got dropped for not chasing his man enough as well. Maybe Acres doesn't have the tank yet for full two way running in the incredibly fast AFL - he's a big unit. I think he is only playing 60-70% game time or something which indicates he might not be able to run out full games yet.

That could be the standards thing Tony said he wasn't meeting. Sinclair got dropped for not chasing his man enough as well. From memory it was 58% game time last week I think. Numbers were impressive considering but I'm guessing he has issues keeping with the pace for 4 quarters which doesn't suit our current running style. He was involved around clearances I think but not sure if I saw him too much as part of those running chains moving forward.

What do you mean by '2nd thoughts' and I am trying to get to the bottom of what (if anything) has ailed Jimmy the last fortnight?

Edit: looked this up. Webster had a sore calf or hamstring apparently?
