from the 2001 Draft
heard a journo mention yesterday that Nick Dal was likely to be gone from North at end of the year in discussion about the 6-7 30+ players they have on their list ( yet keeping Harvey)
and though that's odd hadn't though he would be even considered for retirement- has been very durable
but heard Dal chatting this morning and it would seem it is an option.
maybe it says more about his emotional connection to his second club ( or not)
- would it be a consideration if he was still at the Saints?

i'd take Dal back for a year if Joey hangs them up. Dal can still move it well (hand & foot) just slowed down a lot.

Would be nice to see Dal back (if he comes cheaply). Good for the older players, good for general morale. A top bloke.

Rookie list him? I must say I haven't seen him play much lately, but if he's still the player he was ...

It's official.
North will delist Dal at season end.
I wonder if GWS will take him on? Maybe Brisbane so he can work on his tan??
I can't see and hope we don't take him. We can't be a home for geriatrics only FA's that are guns in their prime, or good early 20's kids like Members/Bruce/Hickey etc.
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

North and Scott admitting they're screwed. Made a play for a flag with top ups, Sydney/hawthorn style and came up well short. Many years to follow at or near the bottom. Good riddance. Brad Scott is the new Ross Lyon.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Also forgotten who he is. From first glance he looked like Max Hudghton.

That's the one! Thanks. I don't think he even got one senior game.

Loved the Dal. Always sad to see him in other colours. Hoping his post playing career at some stage sees him back in the red white and black.
Good luck Dal, you've genuinely been an ornament to the game.
Always loyal
