Riewoldt's Brownlow votes
Fantastic effort by our champion.
He polled more votes than any other non-midfielder, ahead of Franklin and Kennedy.
It's hard to believe he didn't even get a nomination for All Australian - a disgrace actually!

Absolute disgrace! The media seemed to totally ignore the omission too.

Just proves the point that it's a mid-fielders medal, he's had way better years as a forward and got less votes!!!!!StPeter wrote:Absolute disgrace! The media seemed to totally ignore the omission too.

Plus a billion. They are a total disgraceToy Saint wrote:Lets just say the media, generally is a disgrace. They are effectively the propagander department of the AFL.

In other news, apparently umpires voting on the Brownlow is unquestionably accurate but their other decisions are not.
Yes roo was robbed of AA.

Re: Riewoldt's Brownlow votes
Might be biased
But I think he's been unlucky three times
2002 - interchange
22 games
320 possessions
180 marks
21 goals
11 Brownlow votes
Interchanging between CHB/CHF
2007
CHF
Cameron Mooney really, playing in the most dominant team imaginable
NR/CM
20/22 games
360/330 possessions
190/174 marks
47/42 contested marks
42/55 goals
24/21 goal assists
11/1 Brownlow votes
Nick Riewoldt Best and Fairest/Cam Mooney not in top 8
2016 Interchange
Perfect selection, when you have an all time great forward who is running through the middle?
He and Buddy could rotate
Which other midfielder took 222 marks, a 6'4" averaging 21ppg
19 Brownlow votes
42 goals
34 contested marks
Joke!!!!
