Two Goals One

Post: # 1665639Post ace »

Two goals one or should that be 13 behinds given our kicking.

Both Melbourne and St Kilda have conceded 548 points, but Melbourne has scored 13 more points than St Kilda.
That puts Melbourne in the 8 after round 6 and dumps St Kilda into 9th where we finished last year.

Couldn't care less where we are next to Melbourne. The team is just starting to turn the corner. Now we've got bigger fish to fry, like GWS!

The good thing is that with Hawthorn, North and Sydney failing, there's more than one spot in the eight up for grabs.

That means that if we had kicked another 7 points against Melbourne our percentage would be better than theirs.
Makes all those missed shots important!

Five points would be enough. So one of those points changed to a goal would have us in the eight now.

Shows how important goal kicking is -even Bruce's brain fade in the goal square.
