Re: Hogan has Cancer!!!!!
Very good prospects for testicular cancer if discovered early. Probably doesn't need five exclamation marks.
Very good chance he will be back soon after surgery.
Good luck to him though

Re: Hogan has Cancer!!!!!
Testicular cancer and about to have an operation.
Every guy knows and fears that operation.
When he comes back to play again and he does not go in hard he could be subject to a personal sledge.
(when he comes back - because that is what we all want to see)

Five exclamation marks is standard, always has been, always will be, unless I get upset, StoneCold's mantra!!!!!
Do you think two or one would have been more appropriate?????
I know he will be back shortly, all the best though Jesse

Re: Hogan has Cancer!!!!!
Given the recent loss of his father to cancer the poor kid would be beside himself with fear.
Best wishes for his physical and mental health at this terrible time for him.

Best he should give up smoking, then. Good luck to the boy. A nasty scare at any time of life, let alone early on when you're in your physical prime and before you've become a father. Early detection and treatment are the keys. I'm sure he'll get the best treatment possible.

Ex Socceroo Craig Moore was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer when playing for Brisbane Roar in 2009 and was playing again 5-6 weeks after his op. Hopefully Jesse pulls through.ace wrote:Testicular cancer and about to have an operation.

USELESS FACT: The WADA case against Essendon (in Sydney as well) is exactly 10 years to the day that Australia qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

All the best Jesse!
Never like to hear about things like this - even opposition forwards.
Speedy recovery.

Re: Hogan has Cancer!!!!!
Sad news for Jesse, especially so close on the death of his father. I trust he has a full recovery. Hopefully it's been caught early - look to our Australian wickerkeeper, Wade for inspiration - he overcame the disease and was back playing elite level sport. I hope it's the same for Jesse as he is champion young footballer who brings excitement to the game.

All good. Cancer removed. Very early stage so good find. Shows it pays to scratch your balls.
Given the timing re his Dad it's still probably impossible for him and his family to deal with it rationally at this point in time.

Re: Hogan has Cancer!!!!!
Discovered while taking a shower apparently, not fondling his parts. It is recommende by the medical profession that Frequent self examinations should be "held" apparently.
I may have been a bit before my time, as I recall during one very vigorous self examination my mother entered the room and told me to stop it or I would go blind.
On a more serious note I wish Hogan all the best. It is a fairly common among young men with a very very high recovery rate. What I do find interesting that the young man Hogan punched in the head this year also had the same operation with a lot, lot less fanfare... seems that the media are all over it when anything happens to a high profile player, but gives little or no coverage for the average joe.

Re: Hogan has Cancer!!!!!
I always associate Sam Rowe as that footballer who beat cancer. It was well published at the time, but that was 5 years ago. This is a bigger story also because Hogan's Dad died very recently.supersaints wrote:Discovered while taking a shower apparently, not fondling his parts.
