Re: VFL Rd 11
Weller and Lukey are named in the starting 18
Extended bench has
Blake, Long, DMack, Gilbo
Question:
Bench is trimmed later, does that mean Mav and Dunny can't be taken out of the Zebs,
because they aren't on the bench ???
this is confusing. Didn't expect Long to get in

Re: VFL Rd 11 Sandringham vs Werribee
Sandy 9.3.57 v Werribee 3.2.20 at quarter time
Nice long goal from 50 out on the boundary from Marshall who is playing CHB
Battle looks pretty big.

Very impressed that the VFL has brought streaming so that it makes it more available for supporters. Good stuff

Re: VFL Rd 11 Sandringham vs Werribee
massive first quarter by Zebs. 9.3 to 3.2. Zebs kicking with a fair breeze. Wright kicked two amazing goals, Battle looking great up forward, Freeman getting a lot of the ball through the middle.
White playing well in defence.
Rucks dominating through Hickey and Pierce. Marshall kicked a goal from outside 50 on the boundary.

Re: VFL Rd 11 Sandringham vs Werribee
Shocking second quarter, no score what so ever. No intensity on Werribee, give them so much space while Zebras can't get any uncontested ball. Forward entries are bad, all of them too low and get intercepted

Ed Phillips is having a shocker.Proph3t of egan wrote:Shocking second quarter, no score what so ever. No intensity on Werribee, give them so much space while Zebras can't get any uncontested ball. Forward entries are bad, all of them too low and get intercepted
Re: VFL Rd 11 Sandringham vs Werribee
Problem is these entries inside 50 reflect what we do in the seniors as well.

In the seniors we bomb it high to no one, in the seconds we kick it low straight to an opponent, not ideal either wayWombat15 wrote:Problem is these entries inside 50 reflect what we do in the seniors as well.

In another thread whoever said put Savage forward was right, battle is going to be a gun and Freeman is a class above at the level and very quick.

Yes, a couple of good goals from Savage. Battle looks big (I thought he was more a medium height).Wombat15 wrote:In another thread whoever said put Savage forward was right, battle is going to be a gun and Freeman is a class above at the level and very quick.

Freeman BOG so far. Boy is doing his chances of a call up soon, no harm at all. Battle looks excellent. Hickey done some nice things. Savage up forward looks dangerous. Good to see our depth pushing for selection.
