Unbelievable.
This just happened.
Hugo and I were coming home from the park. Hugo was on his bike. To my shock, Hugo, who was about 100 metres ahead of me, decided to cross South Road on his own - which I still can't believe he did. It's a regular route we take, on foot and by bike. I'm very strict about crossing with me.
Anyway, there I am, running down the foot path, yelling and waving, and a dude gets out of his car near Hugo, runs over to him and stops him going any further. As I get closer, I realise it's Jarryn Geary, Captain of the Sainters.
I couldn't believe it. Still can't. LMAO.
Good omens for the game against the Demons this week so far we have rainbows between the goals and our Captain making a great save .Great story Saintbart hope Hugo's a Saint supporter.
A baby was crawling along the road. I had to do a quick double take. So I stop pick up the infant and look around. Not a soul around. It was a minor street and so no moving traffic either.
I felt a bit self conscious holding someone else's baby, but obviously one cannot crawling baby on the road.
So I look around and spot an open garage. i go up to the garage and yell out. No answer..
mmmm weirder and weirder. And feeling even more self conscious I go into the garage and spot that there is an open door to the house. So to it I go and yell out again. Still no answer. Baby meanwhile thinks this is a great joke and I am relieved that it is not crying by now.
So into the house I go, babe in hands. And yell again and finally a surprised looking woman emerges. I think from answering call of nature. Quickly I indicate the open door and say that I found had found her baby crawling on the road outside saying the baby must have crawled out the door, through the garage to freedom beyond.
I think the poor woman was too shocked to say much as she did not even thank me.
So I hand the baby over and I bolt off before someone instead decides to nominate me as some weirdo baby kidnapper!
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

Cool story. Thanks for saving a life but we can't be certain and as you are male and middle aged it's safer to just send you to jail
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
As always he was covering for someone else, intercepting at the last minute while the one responsible for the young man lagged behind. A bit like a game for our captain!
