Come on Saints. Bring it home.
Never give up. Never. Skill and experience will come with persistence, but heart cant be taught. Fight it out till the end boys. Very proud of you. Another preseason, 22 more games and one or 2 more gun recruits and we are not far of the 4.

Re: Come on Saints. Bring it home.
Great post. First quarter was awful. Probably the worst quarter of the year. Players got awe struck and were rubbish but to their credit they stuck it out and got the game back on our terms. Other than the first quarter, the two things that killed us was Billings eye injury and loosing Koby so early. Billings was really impaired by the injury and if Koby stayed on we probably win. We ran out of legs in the end.
I know finals would have been nice for Roo but really we would have just been making up the numbers. Get another preseason into the boys, recruit well for both players and some new coaching staff (time for some new blood with the assistants IMO) and we'll be a serious threat next year.
Go Saints!

There is very little between 5th and 11th teams this year. I don't believe we have gone backwards, just not advanced as much as some from outside the club expected. You can't ignore our draw was a lot tougher in the latter part of this season than it was last season. Our interstate efforts have been far better this year as well.

Well said by all posters. Others could take note.
