Is it unreasonable to expect full time players to hit a target ?
Is it unreasonable to expect full time players to kick set shots?
Is it unreasonable to expect them hold chest marks?
Full time well payed so called professionals who quite frankly do not have the necessary skill set to do their job. They will have nothing better to do in September maybe they can spend the month working on their skills.
Not to mention dumb players, so many of our players run past for the handball on their non preferred side, absolutely clueless non thinking football. First quarter Longer gets free kick, Ross runs round for handball on his right side, nearly kicks it on the full
Bruce slides in and takes mark lucky it was not a throw in as he seemed to double take it. Either plays on or is called to play on has no right foot tries to get on his left panics and handballs wildly to a contest.
Reckon that bit of play summed us up, Longer refuses to kick so handballs at every opportunity to closest teammate, Ross runs around on wrong side, Bruce nearly spills mark , then has no right for coughs up ball. Totally skill less and dumb footy.
Then go on Saints website to read how Dees withstand mighty Saints comeback, please tell me that no St. Kilda employee posts this crap, a mighty comeback is one you win not one where you get within a goal despite not being able to kick for goal and then roll over.
Been a member for 38 years and tonight have finally given up on the dream, we are inept bloody miles away from being a team capable,of winning anything . Never going to see us win one.
Recruiters need to get the arse, how about we recruit midfielders that have some speed and can kick.

Midget are fine, as long as they can run and do something with the pill when they get it.Saintmatt wrote:And midfielders with height. Not midgets
Can't have too many, of course, but neither can you have all monsters and expect to shift the ball around at speed.

What's the right midget vs monster ratio? We seem less monster more midget of late...like 75% of team play half forward and are 5'10".
