Even though it's Roo's final home game the sheer sadness re our season and almost being out of finals contention will make for yet another poor crowd.
Norf fans won't turn up either.

As far as I'm concerned, the number of people attending has less priority for me, than making absolutely sure that Im there MYSELF.

You just need to chip in for a cattle class airfare for Wellard,
I don't care if it's Air Asia, Virgin (a dying breed!) or even Pterodactyl Airways from the Flintstones!!

Re: Guess The Crowd: Saints vs. Norf
Well, there were plenty at both games last year. At the big Boomer Harvey game later in the year we were outnumbered at least four to one, and they weren't going too well at that stage either. I watched one of their games on TV, against Collingwood, and there was plenty of light blue in the stands from what I could see. This week is a designated North Melbourne members replacement game, same as the first time we played them last season.stonecold wrote:Not many North supporters(shut the doors on that club) and depending on how many of our fickle supporters turn up!!!!!

If we can't pull a crowd of our own supporters to see off one of our greats it is disgraceful. I know we have one more game at the G to go, but this weekend is really the club's celebration of the great man.
I'll say 33,000 and I hope I'm right.
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

There will be too few for it to qualify as a crowd.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Re: Guess The Crowd: Saints vs. Norf
Last time we met in June on a Friday night only 26,107 attended.
That was a disgraceful crowd for a Friday night game with two Melbourne based teams. It was a Norf home game and they hadn't totallly bottomed out at that stage. We were coming off a big loss to Adelaide and 3 consecutive losses but was our first game in Melbourne for 3 weeks.
