Is that it for our hopes this year? Do we stick a fork in this team?
Five home and away season games to go and getting into the 8 seems to require almost a miracle.
What a roller coaster of a season this has been! A shame it seems to be panning out to end on a downer instead of a high. Mind you, every season in the club's history has ended on a downer, sans 1966.
Thanks for saving us the expense of buying finals tickets, Saints. Looks like I'll be able to afford good Christmas presents for both of my nieces again.

Hahaha I'm contemplating whether or not to subject them to the Saints aka a life of heartbreak. The eldest is turning 5 in November, which is about the age of when you choose a footy team, unless your parents haven't forced you to inherit their team.remboy wrote:Buy your nieces a Saints membership. Think how much it will build their character. Great early life lessons in barracking for the Saints.Sainternist wrote:Hahaha I'm contemplating whether or not to subject them to the Saints aka a life of heartbreak. Well, I won't know for sure if they've saved me more money this year until late Sunday arvo next weekend. But the chances are they have.
