From AFL website:
The MRP has also thrown out two match-day reports on St Kilda defender Jake Carlisle
for striking North Melbourne opponents Luke McDonald and Declan Mountford.
Both incidents involved open hands to the chest,
with the force deemed to be below that required for a reportable offence, the Panel said in its findings.
I wonder whether the MRP will ever fine someone for staging by grabbing their own throat, when the shove was 6 inches lower.
Not a good look, staging.

2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn
The match day report laid against St Kilda’s Jake Carlisle for striking North Melbourne’s Luke McDonald at the quarter break was assessed. Contact was made with an open hand to the chest. It was the view of the panel the impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence with no further action taken.

Wouldn't it be nice !
Staging has increased in recent years as has players appealing for free kicks . All teams do it .
Bad umpiring has allot to do with it . When you watch old games you hardly notice the frees as many are paid quickly . Watching yesterday's replay there were so many poor decisions from the umpires , it was a joke . Three umpires only paid 24 frees in the whole match and 3 of them were out on the full .
North also got 2 shots on goal when players clearly had the ball over the boundry line , both times the umpires were close and didn't see it .
It's like when the umpires adviser said he hates Mondays because some coaches always ring
When asked which ones he said he is not allowed to say but they are brothers.

What an advertisement they were to the code - then they get coaching jobs with their whining complaints.
What hypocrites they are.
100% spot on , both teams are full of stagers, who the Scott brothers stick up for, sadly the Doggies are heading in the same direction ... it's a blight on the game. They need to start giving fines to players for staging
