Rory Sloane. A St Kilda Shoe In
Ok.
Rory Sloane's contract is up for renewal and there is a lot of speculation he won't be at Adelaide in 2019.
I personally think the speculation is spot on.
Sloane will not only be leaving Adelaide, he will be joining the St Kilda Football club.
What do I base this on? Nothing. Apart from my gut feeling. I have no inside knowledge or information.
We would definitely be chasing his services big time among many clubs. He is known to be a rabid St Kilda supporter.
I just believe he wants to return to Victoria. I think we went close to getting him last time when his contract was up.
This time we will succeed.
That is my opinion.
Over and out.

I would take him in a hearbeat.
Yep. He might only have 4-5 years left, but he is a gun and gives his all. His St Kilda and family links might push him over the line. Pay him shitloads within reason if he wants a big wage. I want him and he would bring alot to the club.

Agreed he is the one we are going to target big time...
You can see he is angling to come home..
It's up to is to make him come home to his boyhood club..
We will have the money and salary cap space...
We need to show him the team is ready to take the next step..

About time we topped up with quality. Even if our incumbents improve as we expect, what's wrong with adding more quality. Get him.
"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

A 27 year old 10 year Adelaide player is a rabid Saints supporter?
Or was he a St Kilda SUPPORTER AS A KID?
Why do people think that being a club supporter as a kid has any influence over decision making as a professional athlete?
Remember when all the Carlton flogs used to write that BJ was going to Carlton because he supported them?

Spelly no longer posts so.......
It's a Shoo-in.
As "The sheep was so tame it was a shoo-in to get it in the pen".
I suppose a head-tap is a shoe-in.

Re: Rory Sloane. A St Kilda Shoe In
We’ve been here before with Sloane and he ended up re-signing with the Crows anyway.
Even if he comes to us, we’d be getting him past his prime. An aging A-grade mid in an already workman-like midfield isn’t the answer.

Until we have an administration that demands success and a playing group that bleeds for the guernsey, St. Kilda will just be a sh*tty football club.

Re: Rory Sloane. A St Kilda Shoe In
is this another case of a cunning manager driving up his client's price?
Would be surprised if he left the Crows.
