Strong on name players, questionable on ability.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Battle CAN play.

He sure can, big red. Give him a couple of years and he'll take a place of one of our three other big forwards. I think he has the raw ability to be the best of our current group of forwards. Classy, clean and reads the play beautifully. Is an endurance beast as well. Play him I say, especially with Membrey having what appears to be an extended break.bigred wrote:Battle CAN play.

The DMac thing sounds horrific, there are a couple of descriptions over on BF that sound awful. Fingers toes and everything crossed that he’s ok.

Just heard Richo on 693; seemed to think DMac would be released from the Epworth shortly, which would be a good sign.

Re: Sandringham Rd 1 Vs Footscray
Thanks for the update SF........ poor Davey MAC has had some setbacks. Glandular fever, then he had a period on the sidelines as he suffers badly from migraines and the Club & him needed to sort his training regime out, plus a few injuries along the way, he hasn’t had an easy run. Some players don’t get an easy path into becoming an AFL player.SemperFidelis wrote:Just heard Richo on 693; seemed to think DMac would be released from the Epworth shortly, which would be a good sign.

Another player we’ve drafted with chronic health issues. At least we are consistent with that one.loris wrote:Thanks for the update SF........ poor Davey MAC has had some setbacks. I would bet the farm that, concussion or not, his health would be better than your chronic shite on your liver!
