Think with Clark, we have had a good draft last year.
Both can use it and are quick

Nailed some amazing passes, I thought he was Winmar like in his pauses, had time. Im not convinced he was necessarily looking for the right foot but maybe the right option? great debut.

What's the bet we lose him after his initial two year contract?

"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

He'll stay.

We'll just coach the composure and natural instincts out of him, and voilà!

Clark will take longer as a midfielder than Coffield as a defender.
Coffield in defence can see where the ball in going and get there.
Clark in the midfield had to guess where the ball might go, get there and win his own ball or receive from someone close by.
It seemed in games 1 & 2 every time he touched the ball he was immediately murdered.
Coffield had more space in defence.
It may be an idea to play young kids in defence early in their careers before moving them to the murderous midfield.

Who cares about the head.
The guy has a fat AFL footballers wallet.
A wallet that will get much fatter shortly.
I bet that wallet is attracting more girls than most posters here can ever dream of.

Reminds me of Robert Harvey in the way he keeps sidestepping and changing cdirection until he finds a player to deliver to

I will start by saying that I think there is No Excuse for a professional AFL player not have the ability to go to and use their non preferred kicking foot when required ( examples to follow !) HOWEVER this is an 18 year kid in his FIRST GAME playing in a team that is going at about 60% disposal efficiency by about half time - and he at 18 is clear headed enough to go for some safe options. and well into the game was going at 100% disposal efficiency -------- he may have a left - but I'm all for him not using it given the situation he found himself in .........ie the situation was a crap team who cant kick

I think his safe options were correct options given his circumstance

Re the use of non preferred - 2 guys stick out to me as good examples - SAAD & DEL SANTO - Saad had some ability but was well and truly found out by his lack of a left foot - when suspended I was amazed that he didn't spend the time to work on this - came back a year (?) later - NO LEFT FOOT - I was happy he was delisted as a result of not having come back a better player ( when there was 1 simple thing to work on that would have made him a better player) - DEL as the other example - turned onto his right foot about 3 times a season AND NAILED IT EVERY TIME - you have to be able too do that - I think Billings is same as Del in this particular scenario

A rare sight. A St Kilda player who can kick a set shot.

Don't blame him, it comes with the training, remove the personality and replace with negativity!!!!!
