Rd 17 2017 v Essendon
This is where we lost the plot.
We kicked 7.15 that night and lost by 61 points.
We were 4.11 at 3/4 time in that game.
We have never recovered.
From that night we have played 12 games including JLT and only won 3 games. Eagles (8th) at Etihad, North (17th) and Lions (18th).
The Eagles were playing poorly at that time.
Our average losing margin is 40 points.

Also, the reality is that we're lucky to be 1-2 thus far. We should really be 0-3. Lions had us on toast in the 3rd qtr and would have won if it wasn't for Jack Steven getting off the chain and saving our bacon.
Bad management is bad management

I thought maybe the Carlise sledging incident is where we lost the plot for the rest of the season? We lacked leadership on and off the field at that time IMOcongorozides wrote:This is where we lost the plot.

That may well have been the start of the rot. That was in May 2017.spert wrote:I thought maybe the Carlise sledging incident is where we lost the plot for the rest of the season? We lacked leadership on and off the field at that time IMOcongorozides wrote:This is where we lost the plot.

We somehow managed 4 wins in a row in June 2017 before hitting the wall in that Bombers game and that was that.

Yeah, though we definately didn't play with the same intensity after that, and then got found out against the Dons.

The dons surrounded our player with ball
just like the Indians did.
No where to go with no plan b
