loving the commentary. They are tearing us the shreds. Same crap each play. They are even predicting what will happen before it does with regularity.
Richo has no real plan in place and it shows. At least Coffield looks good
Hold fast, we’re a young side, we need a gun midfielder which we don’t have. If we kick goals the pressure goes on the score board. We haven’t and they have. We need some win to get some confidence. Then we’re away
"Hold fast, we're a young side..." What an apologist load of crap that is?! IF you want to support mediocrity - that's fine by me, but don't give out meaningless platitudes to supporters who have been waiting for something to celebrate for over 50 years! And just so you know - NOBODY in their right mind wants to come to Moorabbin because we are heartless... and perhaps a little scared of playing at this level. "IF we kick goals..." What color is the sky in your World?

The kicking inside fifty has just been deplorable.

I think we need some mongrel.
Coach is a nice guy, good development coach.
Maybe we should have got Rockcliff
Maybe we need a Toby Greene
We need something
Roo lead by example.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 4 2018
We have problems everywhere. Our recruiting has been diabolical, the development is not there with so many players stagnating and to top it off we have a coach who simply cannot coach and has lost the playing group. I would be happy if we sent moved him on this year and bring someone back that has heart and is a st kilda person. Robert Harvey would be ideal... i know opinions are varying about his coaching ability but bloody hell he couldn't possibly do worse than Richo on tonights showing

Really? Must we get any worse than this before some serious change on multiple levels happens.
The powerbrokers of proud Victorian clubs like Pies, Hawks, Richmond, Injectors and Cats would just not put up with systematic crap like this.

Just be patient everyone. Just be patient, Richo is a good developer of youth. We’ll be great again. Pelchen says so.
Besides, the Vic government has apparently saved us. $15 mill for a Moorabbin redevelopment. Shame that money can’t be used to pay out a few admin contracts..

This is bad, really bad, and we’ve got another two years of this to look forward to. Thank you Matt Finnis.

Can somebody call Richo a call and let him Stewart might need an opponent at some stage.
Just a thought.

No, get some professionals in, none of this sentimental 'Saints people' crap...Hammill, Max, Burke, Thompson, all part of a club history that has got us nowhere.mbogo wrote:I am with Mollie Meldrum - Lennie Hayes for coach - bring back Harves and Rooey and make it a Saints players coaching dept for a change!

Exactly. 3 straight weeks of disgraceful football and a list that is in the bottom 2 of the comp. Embarrassing to watch this crap.sendmehomehappy wrote:The powerbrokers of proud Victorian clubs like Pies, Hawks, Richmond, Injectors and Cats would just not put up with systematic crap like this.

Luke Dunstan has kept us in this game.
If he played like this every week he would win a brownlow.

If memory serves me correctly GT got Blight sacked after a similarly woeful streak of rubbish football with a very young list.
This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 4 2018
Got to fix the forward structure and it may mean Carlisle to chf.
That’s a difficult one as I think one as I suspect the reason he said he’d play for us is we guaranteed him he wouldn’t have to play forward.
Bottom line is we need him to play in the forward line.
Paddy hasn’t been our worst, but he needs some help.
Structure isn’t everything, but a strong spine gives you a starting point. Something to build around.

You do realise that this is our highest score for 2 weeks.
