Good business move actually. It will attract more people through the gates given where the Saints are at. It came about before the Carlton game too. I wouldn't be suprised if our remaining games have reduced prices for tickets.

Yes.... we’re all having a good old laugh thanks to this thread....however, these arseholes in charge of our club are happily giving away cheap tickets and in some cases FREE tickets to games for which WE members paid for IN ADVANCE when we renewed our memberships 
are WE going to get a phucking discount? Are our prices for NEXT years memberships going to be frozen? Take a wild guess!!!! We’re cracking gags about it here but in reality we should be storming the doors of the club demanding some of our money back! What a bunch of knobheads we are!

Totally agree. I can't remember which NHL team it was (bearing in mind in a sport where teams charge whatever they want) - it was failing badly, bankrupt, no fans, no crowds, no success... new CEO came in and changed ticket price policy - corporate seats NEVER given away and cost a fortune; rink-side seats 5 times the price; all seat prices increased significantly; no more free tickets for kids, etc. ... as he felt it pissed off season ticket holders and devalued the team. Guess what happened - he was right.
