Part of the reason that we had a perceived 'tougher' draw is because we allowed these b@stards to beat us and therefore they go up the ladder and we go down - if we had won some more of our games - we would have had a perceived easier draw.
At the end of the day - it is a problem of our own making.

Anyway, sure we will fair better in 2019 after being in the bottom 6 pile.

Computer says "No"
We need to change our fortunes by changing our approach - not counting on the bottom six thing.
Bottom six: Clubs ranked 13-18 on the 2015 ladder will have either no return meeting or a maximum of one return meeting with clubs ranked 1-6. They will have a minimum of one or a maximum of two return meetings with clubs ranked 7-12. They will have a minimum of two and a maximum of three return meetings with other bottom six clubs.
Our 5 repeat games will be:
Richmond
GWS
Western Bulldogs
Brisbane
Fremantle
Each at this point in time would beat us in their home games and probably in ours as the bottom 3 will have much better growth in 2019

Its too hard to predict this fixture thing.
We all thought we were shoe ins against Brisbane and North at home and look what happened. We will be better off playing sides twice that go on the slide next year. No idea who that will be yet though.

So what you are saying is that you want the AFL to preemptively predict who will slide next year and give us an easier draw that reflects this?

Nice.
Yep. That would be nice. Give it a go.

How does this happen when we didn't make the finals?
This season just had too many ingredients to create the perfect recipe for disaster.
Honestly, I would have put those repeat games down for 4-5 wins, had we shown some 2017 form...but we weren't even that good! As it turned out we didn't have a hell of a lot of 6 day breaks, finally got the Crows in Melbourne, didn't travel too much and got some Friday night games on our own patch, there wasn't an awful lot to complain about...it's not as if we got the Gold Coast's draw.

Look, we were s*** anyway but we did get a s*** draw. Travelling to Perth twice in three weeks was a killer.
