J Marsh

Post: # 1777536Post saint6709 »

Quite surprised this guy doesn’t have his own thread - so his does now !

Has some really good highlight vids - yes I know who doesn’t ??
But he seems highly rated by Colling fans and was only out (apparently ) for personal rather than ability reasons

Anyway apparently can go forward or back and has played mid quite a bit in the wafl - at 194 and if you look at his welcome to the saints vid he is a massive unit - for a mid - maybe not as a KPD but as mid he would be biggest ( maybe not tallest ) in the comp - I know he has not been recruited as a mid - more like the Robbo replacement - but he looks like he has potential for a career even though he has been recruited from the last chance dance - hope he goes well - seems pumped to have the chance

Every Collingwood supporter I have spoken to has had positive things to say about him. Looks like an impressive physical unit with speed and aggression. We may have just found one out of nowhere and it’s now a chance for players like Logan Austin, Darragh Joyce and Josh Battle to take their opportunity and become good first team players.
When Nathan Brown comes back at FB in Round 2 he will solidify that defence he is flying at the minute and plenty of good players fighting for the other spots. Obviously Geary and Webster are lock in interesting to see who gets to play off half back in Round 1 & 2.

The kid has serious pace for a guy his size.

Can take a mark as well.

Won’t be a replacement for Roberton, who’s a significant loss for us. Such a good player in such great form if it wasn’t for his dodgy ticker.

Marsh seems to be hungry to play AFL footy. I wish him well and hope he can give us something good as a defender/ rebounder

Isn't this typical of society today? The (possible) good news story (Marsh) has 12 replies while the (possible) bad news story (Rowe) has 67 replies.

If he doesn’t get a game with us he’s certain to get picked in the test team.

Jokes aside could be a handy pick up.
Looked ok at Collingwood and his highlights showed pace and agression.

Worth the punt.
