Why did the umpire not pay a 50 to Steven when the GC player hit Long? Why did he penalise us?

Field kicking improved, goal kicking improved. That’s something.

Joyce is learning a lot today, he plays with the agility of a small guy, and he will run the big guys off their feet on the rebound. Just has to compete in the air.

I’m sure the umpire 1 meter away has a better idea of what’s going on than someone 150m away in the stands.

That sandy turf on the wing is an accident waiting to happen...

Anyone want to defend this quarters umpiring?

The umpiring is not an issue.

Our delivery inside 50 is.

Most of us watch the ball and are not focusing on the umps.
Barely notice them.

Mind you

Oh Lordy, 1st game of the season and I'm praying it's meaningless, if not we have a season full of 10 goal losses heading our way.

Anyone think 3 shots at goal out on full are an improvement on last season?

Must have been a stirring speech by Richo at half time.

Makes you wonder how he kicked his set shot out on the full!

Pierce looking like an inspired selection from Richo.

Getting dominated in the air by Witts.

Just about useless around the ground.

Can’t believe Marshall didn’t get first crack after how good he was to finish the year last year and in JLT2

Delivery inside 50 is mostly putrid.

Someone said during the week that Sexton always gets goals against us. I wish maybe the poster had just shut up :D

Is it four for Sexton so far? Basically were bad, suns are worse but only two goals in it. Our backs are inexperienced our mids are vanilla. Our forwards are ok to be fair
